If you want to buy your first laptop, or you have one or buy another. Then first you have to check some things before spending all your budget on it. So I am here to help you to check things before buying a laptop.
Future Proof Plan :
Before buying any laptop! Please check if you will face any problem in the future. Then ensure the service center of that laptop available in your town. So many other companies can give you the best configuration laptops. But they can’t provide good service in the future. Or they are not available in your town to provide such assistance. So this is the first point you have to check.
Set Your Budget :
Things to check before buying a laptop!
Your most important point. You have to ensure how much money you can spend on that. And after that, you can filter your search according to your budget. But choose the best configuration like the best processor, graphics. These two are important factors in laptop performance. You can get less ram. Because you can upgrade it in the future if your budget is low. But if your budget is good then you can go as you can.
Choose CPU :
CPU is the most important part of a PC or Laptop. It defines how much speed your laptop has.
If you want a budget PC and you are not using heavy software. Like image editing, game development, etc. Then you can go with Intel Core i3 , Intel Core i5. This is sufficient to do your work. Like normal PC games software development e.t.c. But if you need a laptop for heavy load work. Such as Game development Video editing, Animation. Then you need a Good processor to do such work without a problem. You can do this work with a low configuration laptop. But it is so irritating to do due to slow performance. You can get Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i9 for that work.
How Much RAM Do I Need?
Things to check before buying a laptop!
RAM is important to load large programs or big games such as GTA5.
Simply put, the more RAM your laptop has. The better performance you can expect when running multiple programs. The most common RAM configurations available will usually be as follows:
The lower end of 4 GB is quickly becoming obsolete. And it only meant for budget machines that just browse the web.
If you use nearly any type of software beyond just word processing or web browsing. We highly recommend bumping up to the 8 GB threshold. If you want to future proof your machine against new software with higher requirements, 16 GB is a solid investment.
What About Hard Disk?
Laptops with an SSD or SSD cache (even if it is 8 GB or 16 GB). They are faster and more responsive. If your budget permits prioritize these laptops even if it means getting a smaller hard-disk. So for example 500 GB instead priorities! If you need more storage instead of speed then I suggest HDD dive it comes in budget. But you need a good performance and a quick response then you should go with SDD. Because SDD has high response time and system boot faster or software load faster on the laptop. Or SDD has more life than HDD. HDD has mechanical parts such as platters reading head they can damage easily! But SDD does not have any moving parts. So you can spend some money on that.
Check for weight:
If you are looking for a laptop for home use. Then anything is fine. But if you want portability. And going to carry the laptop in a backpack most of the time.
Then go for something that is lighter. For work laptop, stick to a machine that has a screen size of 14 inches (ca. 36 cm) or less.
What About Graphic Card?
The type of video card will have a direct impact. On how well the laptop can render graphics-intensive programs. While this mostly matters for the gamer. A higher-end graphics card may also be a requirement for CAD software or heavy-duty video editing tools.
If you intend to play games on high settings. You will want to look for a dedicated graphics card in this range:
In most cases, the 1050 Ti model will run the vast majority of games at decent frame rates. The main reason to bump up above that tier at this point is to buy a VR ready laptop.
What About Laptop Battery?
The battery is important to factor while you work outdoor. Outside you need more battery Backup. Ensure that before buying a laptop that your laptop has more Battery backup. Or quick charging support!
Display And Laptop Ports?
You’ll have to consider whether you want your next laptop to have a touchscreen. These days, touchscreens are very common. And they can make some tasks easier than others. Unfortunately, they can also add a glossiness to the display. which is sometimes undesirable. Glossy screens lead to reflections, which are a definite negative if you’re gaming. Watching content or editing images and video content. For these reasons, you might want to consider a laptop that doesn’t have a touchscreen.
Laptop ports are an important factor you have to see before buying it. Most of the people do not give importance to it. Check how much USB Ports it has, HDMI Port, Display Ports, 3.0 Port, e.t.c.
